Company Profile

We are a small, privately owned company on which you can depend. We began trading in 1991, the present Managing Director being the Proprietor of the former business.

The Company started with one Ford Escort van delivering nuts, bolts and power tools for a local engineering merchant. In 1992 the first Ford Transit Flatbed was purchased allowing the delivery of palletised goods, fabrications and goods associated with the Corus steel company.

The relationship with local businesses allowed further expansion and in 1996 M H Transport Services Ltd was formed at our St Georges Road offices.

In 2001 our distribution centre opened on Hyde Bank Road enabling loaded vehicles to be kept in a secure compound and palletised loads to be stored in our warehouse for onward delivery

2004 Peak Storage and distribution was acquired to handle covered distribution and courier services.

We are specialists in urgent, sameday and just-in-time deliveries from parcels to pallets, anywhere in the U.K. Our location gives us easy reach to the M1, M6, M60, and M56 motorway networks, allowing fast deliveries throughout the country.

Our up to date vehicles are all in corporate livery with our own drivers in our standard uniform.

All our vehicles are equipped with mobile 'phones allowing your consignment to be tracked throughout its journey and our "Proof of Delivery" notes are available if required.
